Health Access Network (HAN) is helping our community to be as healthy as possible. Being healthy helps people lead happier, more productive lives, and also helps lower your medical costs.

In order to help people in our community achieve better health there is a wide range of high quality preventive and primary care services offered at HAN.  These services include care for the full family, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric health care, prenatal and postpartum, dental care, addiction services, mental health counseling, social services and outreach programs.

In addition to the core services above, HAN also offers free supportive services and programs:

Free car seat vouchers from the Maine CDC - Injury Prevention Voucher Program with certified installation to parents and children who are WIC or MaineCare eligible. The program provides seats for newborns, toddlers and adolescents.  Please call 794-6700 to schedule an appointment at HAN Millinocket Primary Care office or at the HAN administrative office in Lincoln.

“Healthy Habits”, a free weight loss support group that offers support and encouragement to those who wish to loose weight in a healthy manner, through good nutrition and physical activity.  Members have a weekly weigh-in, and get tips, suggestions, and support from others. If you wish to improve your health with “Healthy Habits,” you may come to 51 Main Street in Lincoln, between the hours of 10:45 to 12:00 on Mondays or 200 Somerset Street Suite 2 in Millinocket from 10:45 to 12:00 on Thursdays.

“Kinship Support Group”, a free support group for family members or friends whom are raising children. Each session will cover new services and supports available to you and your family such as how to apply for MaineCare, food stamps, TANF, Child only grants, when legal representation is needed and where to find legal counsel and general information.
