Health Access Network Recognizes Administrative Professionals

Behind every
successful organization is a team of administrative support staff.
At Health Access Network (HAN), we are grateful to have a group
of very talented administrative professionals who make a positive
difference in how we deliver care to our patients and community.
Our administrative professionals include receptionists and
switchboard operators who are your first point of contact, billing staff
who process insurance claims and payments, medical records clerks who
keep patient records in order, referral specialists, as well as
administrative assistants and managers who work behind the scenes.
Each one is vitally important to assure our timely delivery of
quality health care services.
Administrative
Professional’s day is celebrated worldwide on April 25th.
The event was originally organized in 1952 as National
Secretaries Week, in an effort to recognize secretaries for their
workplace contributions and to attract individuals to secretarial and
administrative careers. In
2000, the International Association of Administrative Professionals
(IAAP) changed the name of the event to Administrative Professionals Day
to include a much broader range of administrative positions that have
evolved mainly by technology.
Many of these positions
now require skills in management functions and technology, including
project management, internet and email communication, customer service,
public relations and more.
We are very proud
to recognize and honor our team of 36 administrative employees for their
hard work, dedication, and outstanding contributions!
